At Cornish Cream Teas, we are delighted to offer complimentary delivery as part of our commitment to giving you the best possible service. Here's everything you need to know about our delivery process — from how your order is dispatched, to looking after perishable goods, to ordering around big occasions.
We provide free delivery on every order. Enjoy our delicious Cornish cream teas, cheese scones, pasty boxes and hampers without any additional delivery charges.
Your orders are dispatched using Royal Mail's reliable 24-hour service, delivered directly to your doorstep to keep our products as fresh as the day they were packed.
As we send perishable items, once you receive the goods they must be consumed within 2–3 days. Any pasty, cream or cheese should be refrigerated straight away. Pasties need to be properly re-heated in the oven before eating.
It is the purchaser's responsibility to track the order and make sure someone is at the property to receive the parcel. The email used on your order is the one we use for tracking updates.
On some occasions the courier may leave your order in a safe place — so it's vital customers keep track of delivery and are aware there are perishable foods that need to be refrigerated straight away.
If you're sending a gift and have used your own email for tracking, we highly recommend letting the recipient know once the parcel arrives so they're aware there are perishable goods inside. We're unable to let the recipient know this from our side if your own details have been used. Pasties and cream must be refrigerated as soon as they arrive.
Our delivery days are Tuesday to Friday. Choose the day that suits your schedule best.
⚠️ Please note: If you need to change any delivery information — including address or preferred date due to a mistake when ordering — we need to be made aware the day before the dispatch date. Otherwise the order will be sent according to your original selection.
If no delivery date is chosen, we'll send the order on the next available delivery day.
We do not take any responsibility for incorrect delivery details. We do not check this information and rely on customers entering the correct details when placing the order.
On bank holidays, the first delivery day of the week will be adjusted to Wednesday. This makes sure that even during holiday periods, we continue to provide our usual exceptional service.
You can choose a delivery date up to 90 days ahead. Please note that although you can choose a date, we cannot guarantee it arrives on that exact day — it may be delivered the following day.
If your order is a gift, feel free to leave a personalised message on the cart page. We'll make sure your thoughtful message is written onto a Cornwall-inspired card tucked inside the box, adding a special touch to your Cornish Cream Tea gift.

For our biggest occasions — Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day — please note we work to a different timeline due to the huge volume of orders.
📦 Labels printed 5 days after ordering. To make sure every order gets out on time during these busy periods, we print shipping labels and begin preparing your box with the non-perishable items 5 days after you place your order.
🥛 Perishables added the day before delivery. Cream, cheese and pasties are added to your box the day before your chosen delivery date — so everything arrives at its absolute freshest.
✋ Once the label is printed, we cannot change or cancel the order. This includes the delivery address and delivery date — because your box is already being prepared.
📧 You get 5 days' notice. This policy is also clearly stated on the order confirmation email you receive the moment you place your order, giving you a full 5 days to make any changes before your label is printed.
This policy only applies to these big occasions. Outside of them, we follow our normal delivery terms above.
While we make every effort to ensure prompt and perfect delivery, unforeseen issues with our courier may sometimes arise. We cannot guarantee your chosen delivery date but remain fully committed to resolving any delivery-related concerns promptly.
⚠️ Please note: If no-one is home to receive the parcel and the courier does not deliver because of this, we cannot take responsibility. Please make sure to follow updates on the tracking page to ensure someone is at home to receive the order.
If your delivery does not arrive within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us straight away.
